JAKARTA: The Indonesian government will accelerate school digitalization by installing 800,000 interactive flat panels in schools across the country this year, the country's Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti said Thursday.

Mu'ti said the program is part of the government's accelerated school revitalization and digitalization efforts aimed at improving education quality and creating a more modern learning environment.

The ministry previously distributed 288,865 interactive flat panels to schools across Indonesia in 2025 as the initial phase of the program.

In addition to expanding digital infrastructure, the government will provide training for teachers to ensure the new learning technology is used effectively in the classroom, Mu'ti said.
