Doha, Qatar: As part of its ongoing back-to-school awareness campaign, the General Directorate of Traffic has intensified efforts to promote traffic safety among students through an educational field visit to Al Andalus Preparatory School for Boys at the Al Andalus Educational Complex.
The visit was attended by Director General of Traffic Brigadier Jabr Ali Al Kubaisi, along with a number of officers from the Directorate. It featured a field tour of the school, followed by a meeting with teaching and administrative staff and students.
An interactive awareness lecture was also held, focusing on key traffic safety practices for students. The session covered traffic safety rules, guidelines for the safe use of school buses, safety requirements for bicycle users, the importance of walking on designated sidewalks, and proper procedures for crossing roads safely.
Brigadier Al Kubaisi stressed that the visit is aimed at strengthening traffic safety awareness among students.
