TOKYO: Tokyo stocks lost 0.12 percent on Tuesday as late profit-taking eroded early gains that had followed a surge on Wall Street the previous day.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange closed down 10.46 points at 8,786.05. The Topix of all first section shares fell 0.16 percent or 1.16 points to 731.19. (AFP)
