Doha: Leading football and performance optimisation specialists will meet to discuss football in the perfect setting, the City of Light during Aspire4Sport Congress and Exhibition 2014.
This year’s two-day exclusive event and networking session, is taking place in Paris on 6 and 7 October.
Into its fifth edition, Aspire4Sport Congress and Exhibition, which brings together leaders in sports and business under one umbrella will also feature a Global Summit on Football Performance and Science, organised by the Aspire Academy.
The summit will be attended by more than 150 delegates representing national federations, teams and leading clubs,
They will present their vision of the training methods that create champions and help them set out on promising careers.
During the conference, Pavillon Cambon will become the epicentre of the football universe and the starting point for an incredible project that aims to build up a leading network of sport performance experts.
This network’s members will understand that chance has no place in top-level sport, and that the only way to attain excellence is through the optimised quest for performance.
“We are expecting the world’s best clubs and the top youth national teams and numerous internationally renowned experts there. Our intention is to create an international community of experts who exchange ideas, while also emphasizing Qatar’s vision to become the leading nation in youth development,” said Valter Di Salvo, Aspire Academy’s Director of Football Performance & Science and the Executive Director of the summit.
The keynote speaker will be the successful volleyball coach and former General Director of SS Lazio and FC Internazionale, Julio Velasco, and the list of stars in international football is long and includes big names such as successful coach Roberto Mancini and the former world class players Juan Sebastián Verón, Patrick Kluivert, Gaizka Mendieta, Louis Saha and Gabriel Heinze.

Aspire4Sport exhibition is going to take place at the same venue.
Since its creation in 2010, the exhibition has been held in Qatar.
As part of its strategic plan, Aspire4Sport will take place this year in central Europe.
Aspire4Sport is an exhibition designed by its organizers, Aspire Zone and IFP Qatar Ltd, as a new kind of collaborative platform, where business networking takes place in a more open environment than is usually found at these kinds of events.
Representatives from all sport business sectors – including construction, sport medicine, logistics, event management, communication and technology – will be present at what promises to be one of the biggest sports events in autumn 2014 and the program will allow participants to build one-to-one relationships with Qatari organizations present at Pavillon Cambon, including the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Qatar Football Association, Aspire Academy, the Qatar Stars League and Aspetar.
