Doha: The Emergency Department at Hamad General Hospital (HGH), as well as all Walk-in Centres and Paediatric Emergency Centres across the country will operate as usual during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
Meanwhile, the Outpatient Departments (OPD) at HGH and the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) will be closed throughout the holidays.
WH OPD Clinics will be open on 7 to 9 October from 9am to 12noon. Women’s Hospital (WH) OPD Pharmacy will be open 24/7 throughout the Eid holidays. The hospital’s Anesthesia, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and General Pediatrics sections will be open on 2 October and closed for the rest of the holidays. The rest of the Women’s Hospital Clinics will be closed for the holidays.
Heart Hospital’s (HH) OPD will be open with limited capacity on 8 and 9 October for Warfarin Clinic, Medication Room, Consultation Room and Referral Clinic.
OPD Laboratory Services for HGH, WH and HH will be closed on 5 to 7 October and will be open on 8 and 9 October from 7:00am to 2:00pm, and on 11 October for HGH and WH from 7:00am to 3:00pm. The NCCCR OPD Laboratory will be open on 5, 7 and 8 October from 7am to 1pm and will be closed on 9 to 11 October.
Al Wakra Hospital (AWH) OPD will be closed on 5 and 6 October and will reopen on 7 to 9 October for Cardiology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, General Medicine and Burns Clinics, along with Pharmacy and Laboratory.
AWH’s Radiology Department will be open 24 hours for only patients from Adult Emergency, Pediatric Emergency, Obstetrics, Operation Theater, Dialysis and Inpatients. It will also be open for ultrasound, CT scan, General X-ray and MRI.
Al Khor Hospital’s (AKH) Anesthesia Unit will be open on 6 October. All the OPD Clinics will be closed during the holidays.
The Cuban Hospital’s OPD Clinics will be closed from 2 to 7 October and will reopen starting 8 October. Adult Cardiology will also be open on 8 October but will be closed on 9 October.
Rumailah Hospital’s (RH) Dentistry Department will be closed during the holidays. Dentistry Urgent Care will be open on 8 and 9 October from 8am to 1pm.
The RH Communicable Diseases Unit OPD Clinic and Evening Consultation will be closed during the holidays. The Directly Observed Therapy Programme will be open on 5 to 11 October from 7am to 10pm.
RH Community Mental Health Services will be open as follows: Adult Outreach on 6, 8 and 9 October; Male Day Care on 6 and 8 October; Female Day Care on 8 October; Older Adult Outreach from 5 to 9 October.
Other clinics will be open on 8 and 9 October as follows: RH Dermatology Urgent Clinic from 9m to 12pm. Psychiatry OPD will be open from 7:30am to 3pm. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department will be open from 8am to 1pm. RH Plastic Surgery Urgent and Specialist Clinic will be open on 8 October from 8am to 1pm and on 9 October from 7am to 3pm.
RH Pharmacy will be open for Dermatology on 8 and 9 October from 9am to 12pm; for OPD on 3, 4, 10 and 11 October from 9am to 1pm, and on 5 to 9 October from 8am to 1pm; and for OPD Psychiatry on 7 to 9 October from 7am to 3pm.
The RH Dermatology OPD Laboratory will be open on 7 to 9 October from 9am to 12noon.
Rehabilitation Services will be open on 8 and 9 October as follows: Prosthetics and Orthotics from 8am to 12pm; Male Physiotherapy from 12pm to 8pm at the RH Neuro Clinic Area, and from 2pm to 10pm at the Main RH Clinic. Neurological and Geriatric Physiotherapy will be open from 7am to 3pm. At the Physiotherapy Center in Bin Omran, Pediatric Outpatient will be open from 7am to 3pm; Female Outpatient from 7am to 6pm; Outpatient Neurological and Geriatric Physiotherapy, and AKH Physiotherapy Outpatient at 7am to 3pm.
RH Occupational Therapy’s Hands Unit will be open from 5 to 9 October from 8am to 1pm for certain post-operative outpatients.The Peninsula
