Doha: A hat-trick by Harbaoui Hamdi helped Qatar Sports Club trounce Al Gharafa 5-1 in the sixth round of the Qatar Stars League here yesterday.
Qatar SC, who have 12 points from six matches after yesterday’s win, led 2-0 at the end of half time play.
Julio Peu struck for Qatar SC in the 24th minute to open the scoring. From there on Hamdi took over and score three goals (37, 80,83).
Han Kook-Young added the fifth one four minutes from the final whistle. Nene pulled one back in injury time for Al Gharafa.
In the other matches, Al Khor defeated Al Shahaniya 3-2, while the Al Arabi, Al Kharaitiyat match ended in a goalless draw.
