DOHA: The Youth Company (TYC), a non-profit social enterprise for youth empowerment and development, has partnered with Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) and Qatar Olympic Sports Museum (QOSM) for the Run The World Festival 2013 from December 19 to 21 at Katara Cultural Village.
Not only do QMA actions focus on the development of museums, galleries and archeological sites; they also play an active role in organising and sponsoring local and international events. These values are also shared with QOSM.
The festival will feature sport activities, talent performances, talks and projects encouraging healthy lifestyles.
It will also expose visitors to over 30 cultures exhibited by youth groups and organisations in a unique global fair serving traditional food, crafts, shows, and other outdoor exhibits.
“We take great pride and pleasure in collaborating once again with QMA and QOSM for this year’s festival.
“It has been quite a journey since the first edition of the festival.
“With continuous support and encouragement from these championing authorities of Qatar, we can certainly expect an epic event this December,” said TYC Chief Executive Officer Aya Abu Issa.
