ISLAMABAD: The Balochistan government is to hold Balochistan Development Forum (BDF) meeting by end of November in the federal capital to muster support of multilateral and bilateral donors for multibillion-dollar assistance for this neglected province.
Earlier, the provincial government had to cancel the meeting in August this year because of the sit-ins by PTI and PAT in the federal capital that had frightened the donors and diplomats away. The tentative dates for holding the BDF are November 25 and 26 but the schedule will be finalised soon. The provincial government, according to the sources, will have to devise corruption-free mechanism for undertaking development projects in this part of the country. INTERNEWS
