DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday launched an offer on mobile Internet cards that enables customers to surf more. Under the offer, which runs until the end of 2014, every customer who activates a Mobile Internet Card will get ten times the data allowance.
This offer is available on every Mobile Internet Card, so customers who purchase the value-packed QR20 card will get 2.5 GB worth of data, rather than the standard 250 MB.
Customers who purchase the top-of-the-range QR200 card will get 150 GB — up from 15 GB. Likewise, QR60 cards will now provide a 10 GB allowance, QR80 cards will offer 30 GB and QR100 will deliver a massive 60 GB if activated before December 31, 2014.
Ooredoo is able to offer this boost in data allowance because of its success in upgrading its nationwide mobile data network in 2014, a statement from the company said.
The company has expanded its 4G LTE coverage across the country during the year.
Mobile Internet Cards enable customers to control their Internet usage on a monthly basis based on how much they need, with no subscription or renewal fees.
