Saudi stock market closes lower

Riyadh: The Saudi main stock index closed lower on Sunday, dropping 119.56 points to settle at 11,536.29, with a total trading value of SR 4.4 billion.

A total of 259 million shares were traded during the session. Shares of 66 companies recorded gains, while 191 companies saw declines.

Meanwhile, the parallel market index (Nomu) also closed down, shedding 73.34 points to reach 24,943.63, with a trading value of SR 12 million and over one million shares traded.
