Doha: Quick Copy, a company for designing, printing and photocopying run by Dar Al Sharq, has won a bid to operate at Qatar University.
Ten big companies competed in the bid to open their outlets in the university to provide printing and photocopying services for students.
Quick Copy, one of eight companies run by Dar Al Sharq, won the trust of customers in a short time in the local market, said the Chief Executive Officer of Dar Al Sharq, Abdullatif Al Mahmoud.
“We (Dar Al Sharq) as a media and advertisement agency focus on catering for the education sector so that students could get high quality services like those available in Western university,” he added.
“It will be a great experience to open a new chapter in quality services to students and teaching staff of Qatar University,” he added.
Al Mahmoud thanked the administration of Qatar University for trusting Dar Al Sharq and vowed to provide best services for the university in the field of printing and advertisement.
Members of a committee assigned to evaluate bids unanimously selected Quick Copy among 10 companies taking part in the bidding process.
Quick Copy, a US trademark is a leading company providing complete marketing solution and digital printing.
The company was set up in 1967 and has more than 450 branches in all over the world.
The branch of Quick Copy was opened at Dar Al Sharq in May 2012.
