Doha: Silatech organised, a workshop ‘Comprehensive Economic Growth: Building of Cooperation Bridges’ in Ramallah in partnership with Palestine Cooperation Foundation.
It was attended by agencies focusing on the youth sector in government and non-governmental organisations and the private sector to discuss common strategies for the economic empowerment of youth in Palestine.
In a statement, Silatech said the workshop was attended by over 600 representatives from the public and private sectors and civil society institutions and was addressed by the Palestinian Minister of Labour, Dr Ahmed Al Majdalani, and the Director-General of the foundation, Dr Tafida Al Majdalani.
Silatech CEO Dr Tariq Mohamed Youssuf said, “What we aspire for through this event, is to launch a dialogue between the public and private sectors as well as civil society organisations on what we can do together for the Palestinian youth. QNA
