180 Syrian Refugees Enter Jordan in 72 Hours

A total of 761 Syrian refugees, mostly women, children and the elderly, entered the Kingdom through various border points during the past 72 hours

 

Amman - A total of 180 Syrian refugees, mostly women, children and the elderly, entered the Kingdom during the past 72 hours.

Jordanian Border guards stationed along the border between Jordan and Syria assisted in providing food and other services to the refugees and transferring them to refugee camps in addition to their duty in preventing infiltration and smuggling.

According to Jordan's (Petra) news agency, thirteen injured people, who were also among the refugees, were provided with treatment.
