BEIJING: Chinese officials are reporting that a warehouse collapse in the northeastern city of Harbin has killed three firefighters and injured 13 others.

The Harbin Communist Party said on its Sina Weibo microblog account Saturday that a security guard was also injured in the blaze. Two other firefighters remained out of contact Saturday morning.

The official Xinhua News Agency said the firefighters were on the second floor of a ceramics market warehouse Friday night trying to put out a blaze above them when the floor collapsed on them.
