Gaza: A Palestinian child died saturday after she was brutally shot by the Israeli occupation army in Al Mawasi area in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, in a persistent Israeli breach of the ceasefire deal.
Medical sources at the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that, with this fatality, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation army gunfire since dawn today has climbed to four, following the slaying of a woman so far by Israeli firepower in the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza Strip.
Two more citizens were killed after the occupation army opened fire on a group of residents in the Shuja'iya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, while around 17 others were injured in Rafah.
Meanwhile, Israeli naval patrol craft engaged a fishing vessel in the waters off Khan Younis in the southern Gaza enclave, while occupation forces conducted detonation operations east of the city and east of Beit Lahia.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that the casualty toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 71,384 fatalities and 171,251 injuries in action, with casualties reaching 418 fatalities and 1,171 injuries since the ceasefire came into effect on Oct. 10.
