DOHA: The Advisory Council held Monday its ordinary weekly meeting of its 42nd regular session under the chairmanship of HE the Council's Deputy Speaker Issa bin Rabia Al-Kuwari.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Advisory Council Secretary-General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the agenda, which was then agreed upon.
The Advisory Council then endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
The Council reviewed a draft law amending some provisions of Decree Law No. (37) of 2004, granting Mowasalat Transport Company (Mowasalat), a Qatari joint stock company, a franchise to manage operate taxis and decided to refer it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to study it and submit a relevant report later to the council.

The Advisory Council's Financial and Economic Affairs Committee held Monday its ordinary weekly meeting under its Rapporteur, Mohamed Ajaj Al-Kubaisi.
During the meeting, the committee examined a draft law amending some provisions of decree law No. (37) of 2004 granting Mowasalat Transport Company (Mowasalat), a joint stock company, a franchise to manage and operate taxis.
The Committee decided to invite HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, the Minister of Transport to attend its next meeting to hear ministry's views on the draft law. (QNA)
