DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Monday at 11,137.59 points or 0.33 percent down 36.38 points from the previous closing of 11,173.97 points on Sunday.
The volume of shares was up to 13,153,906 from Sunday 10,994,813 and the value of shares increased to QR434,306,437.28 from QR353,451,751.71 on Sunday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 2.49 percent to QR179.90, Industries Qatar lost 0.72 percent to QR178.40, Electricity and Water fell 0.77 percent to QR181.60 and Vodafone Qatar decreased by 0.88 percent to QR11.21.
The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.93 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 0.59 points.
The industrial sector was fell 0.70 points while insurance sector added 1.06 percent points. (QNA)
