Havana---Cuban state media released photographs of former president Fidel Castro late Monday in a bid to quiet rumors that his health is failing.
The images were the first of the Cuban revolution leader to be published in nearly six months. They showed the 88-year-old Castro at his home with the leader of a students' union, and were run in the state-run newspaper Granma and other official media.
