Doha: The 2022/23 cruise season received the first LNG powered cruise ship - MSC World Europa, carrying 5,160 tourists and a crew of 2,082 arrived at Doha Port yesterday, Mawani Qatar announced.
MSC World Europa is also the most innovative and environmentally sustainable ship in the MSC Cruises fleet.
The newly built ship in Saint-Nazaire, France, flies the flag of Malta and consists of 22 decks with a length of 333 m, a width of 47 m and a draft of 9 m.
