Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department has warned of reduced horizontal visibility along coastal and offshore areas, particularly during the early hours.
It said foggy conditions have been observed across most parts of the country, reducing visibility to less than 1km.
The Ministry of Interior also issued an alert, urging motorists to drive slowly and follow necessary safety precaution.

Meanwhile, the Meteorology Department recorded today's lowest temperature of 10°C in Al Guwayriyah, while Doha recorded 17°C.
According to the daily forecast, weather conditions until 6pm today are expected to include moderate daytime temperatures with some clouds at times, and relatively cool to cold conditions at night. Offshore areas are expected to experience light fog to fog initially, with some clouds at times.
Winds along the coast will be variable at first, becoming southwesterly to southeasterly at 5-15 knots. Offshore, winds will be mostly easterly to southeasterly at 5-15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 20 knots in northern areas at night.

Horizontal visibility along the coast will range between 4 and 9 kilometers, decreasing to 2 kilometers or less initially. Offshore, visibility will also range between 4 and 9 kilometers, dropping to 1 kilometer or less initially.
Wave heights along the coast will range from 1 to 3 feet, and offshore will range between 2 and 4 feet, rising to 6 feet further north at night.
It added that the highest expected temperature in Doha is 28°C.
