Hundreds of fans flock to buy tickets for Emir Cup final

DOHA: This year’s Emir Cup final match ticket sales is witnessing high demand from hundreds of fans who flocked to the 7 ticket booths to buy their tickets, Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced yesterday 
QFA has released a total of 10,000 seats for the final match and will release additional batch of tickets in the upcoming period prior to the final match that will take place at Khalifa International Stadium on May 17.
Tickets were made available to the public on May 1. A total of seven ticket kiosks have been located in several places so that they are readily available for fans from across Doha. 
Final match tickets are be sold at Villaggio, The Mall, Landmark Mall, Lagoona Mall, Souq Waqif, Fifty One East at City Center, and Al Khor Mall. 
Tickets for the final match are only sold in the evening, except on weekends, where they will be sold in the morning and in the evening hours. Tickets for quarter finals and semi finals are sold at the stadiums ahead of match kick-off. 
Emir Cup quarter finals are set to kick-off today at 5:15pm and 7:45pm in Al Sadd Stadium and Al Arabi Stadium.  
Spectators have the chance to win new mega prizes in the final match of the Emir Cup; prizes include cars from Toyota, iPhones, iPads and Blackberry phones, QFA said. THE PENINULA
