MOTC officials and South African delegation at the event.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) welcomed a high-ranking delegation from South Africa at Hamad Port.
The delegation included South African Ambassador to Qatar Shirish Soni and a number of South African businessmen as well as representatives of a number of South African companies and institutions working in the fields of port and transport infrastructure.
Captain Abdulla Al Khanji, CEO of Qatar Ports Management Co. (Mwani Qatar) briefed the visitors on progress in the construction, facilities, and development of services at Hamad Port.
The delegation toured the port where they learnt about the port equipment, sea docks, container terminals and other facilities.
