Doha: Hour-long Doha Balloon Parade as part of the three-day festival has been rescheduled to later in the evening for today, May 3, 2022.
Balloon parade that was planned to begin at 4:30 pm on Corniche today will now be held after the fireworks display at 9:30 pm. The parade has been rescheduled for the day due to the dusty weather that is country is experiencing today.
"Due to weather conditions, the Eid in Qatar giant balloon parade will be postponed to 21.30 today, Tuesday, May 3," Visit Qatar said.
As part of the Eid festival, Carnival games, inflatables, roaming shows and food stalls are in place for the three-day festival which will continue until Thursday, May 5.
Today's schedule will include roaming shows and food trucks / kiosks at 4:30pm, after which the concerts begin at 7:30pm, followed by the fireworks at 9pm and then the balloon parade.
Metro users heading to watch the parade, can exit from the Corniche station, while those heading for the concerts can use the Al Bidda Metro station.
Karwa is offering free bus shuttle services for the three day festival. It has 70 buses to ferry visitors to the festival at Corniche. The shuttles operate at a 10-minute frequency.
