DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Tuesday at 13,221.29 points or 2.43 percent down 329.89 points from the previous closing of 13,551.18 points on Monday.
The volume of shares was fell to 35,623,423 from Monday 39,120,604 and the value of shares decreased to QR1,689,793,342.18 from QR1,706,927,336.71 on Monday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 2.57 percent to QR178.30, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 2.33 percent to QR67.00, Qatar Islamic Bank fell 7.62 percent to QR97.00 and Electricity and Water decreased by 3.23 percent to QR191.90. (QNA)
