Doha: June was recorded as the third hottest month in 2025 so far, harboring high temperatures and strong winds, according to Qatar Meteorology department (Civil Aviation Authority).
June’s daily mean temperature in 2025 is forecasted to be settling in around 34.7°C; while historically, the lowest recorded temperature was 21°C back in 1975, and the hottest ever recorded temperature reached 49.1°C in 2010.
During this month, fresh and strong northwesterly wind is expected to blow carrying with it a mixture of lightweight dust, potentially causing low visibility and higher sea waves.
These strong winds are expected to blow at their peak during daytime then to gradually slow down at night time starting from the evening.
Due to excess heat levels and strong dusty winds, general caution is highly advised to people of allergies and sensitivities to dust and winds.
