Doha: The Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs H E Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari issued a ministerial decision yesterday, reconstituting the Shawwal and Ramadan Crescent Moon Sighting Committee.
Dr Thagil bin Sayer Al Shammari is the Chairman of the committee and Ahmed bin Ali Hajar is Deputy Chairman.
According to the decision, Mohammed Mahmoud Al Mahmoud, Abdullah Omar Al Bakri and Yahya Butti Al Nuaimi are members of the committee. The panel called upon Muslims to report the sighting of the crescent moon.QNA
