Doha, Qatar: Singh Seva Group, an affiliated organisation of the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) under the patronage of Indian Embassy, organised a blood donation drive for its community at Hamad Blood Donor Center, in collaboration with Bhagwan Valmiki Trust.
The initiative provided an opportunity for Indian Community members to participate in the selfless act of donating blood and to contribute to making a positive impact on the community.
Dharambal Singh, President of Singh Seva Group and Sarabjeet Singh, President, Bhagwan Valmiki Trust, together said, “The event seeks to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation and acknowledge donors for their life-saving gifts of blood."
They thanked over 250 donors who came forward for the noble cause. ICBF Vice-President, Deepak Shetty, speaking on the occasion, commended Singh Seva Group for undertaking the this generous initiative for the second time this year and the response has been remarkable.
General Secretary of ICBF K.V Boban said: “Donating blood is one of the easiest and simplest ways to boost community well-being, support our health system, and engage in something that can be potentially lifesaving for people critically in need.”
