Doha, Qatar: The Syrian Community Council in Qatar concluded its “Athar” summer camp for Syrian boys recently. The two-day camp, held in the Al-Shahaniya area, hosted 55 students from the community, aged 12 to 16.

The camp featured a diverse programme combining educational, cultural, religious, sports, scientific, and recreational activities. Its aim was to develop participants’ skills, foster values of cooperation and belonging, and help them make the most of their summer vacation. The camp was supervised by a select group of educational and administrative staff.

The camp provided an interactive atmosphere that blended learning and fun, giving the boys the opportunity to develop their abilities, acquire new skills, and build positive relationships within a stimulating educational environment that reinforces their identity and values.

At the conclusion of the events, the Syrian Community Council in Qatar expressed its gratitude to the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Doha and the Qatari Ministries of Interior and Culture for their cooperation, support, and provision of the necessary facilities.
