DOHA: The Police College and National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) yesterday signed a cooperation protocol on coordination in the fields of human rights. It was signed by the Director-General of the college, Brig. Dr Mohamed Abdullah Al Mohanna, and NHRC Secretary-General, Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah.
Since its establishment by an Emiri decision, NHRC, has played a key role in introducing and spreading the culture of human rights thus leading to this cooperation which serves students of the college, in courses related to human rights, freedoms and equality, participation in preparation of working papers, research and studies or preparations for seminars and workshops to serve the community in addition to benefiting from the two entities’ libraries.
