Qatar Event Show 2026 continues on day two with focus on technology and sustainability

Doha, Qatar: The second edition of Qatar Event Show 2026 (QES 2026) continued at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), bringing together industry leaders, experts and companies from across the events, exhibitions, conferences and entertainment sectors.

The second day featured a programme of discussions and workshops examining some of the key forces shaping the future of the events industry. Topics ranged from women’s leadership and strategies for attracting international events to sustainability, artificial intelligence, event technology and creative experience design.

The sessions highlighted the growing role of women in the industry, explored ways to strengthen destinations’ competitiveness in securing international events, and examined how ESG principles can become an integral part of event planning and delivery.

Discussions also focused on the practical applications of artificial intelligence and technology across the GCC events sector, as well as the role of creativity and design in transforming client requirements into engaging and integrated audience experiences.

Qatar Event Show 2026 concludes today, September 3, with a programme focusing on talent, the future of event companies, building more resilient business models and the key trends expected to shape the events industry over the coming years.
