Prime Minister Manmmohan Singh and Minister for Urban Development Kamal Nath pay respects at the memorial to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the torch-bearer of India’s fight against British rule, at Rajghat in New Delhi yesterday. Gandhi’s 144th birthday was celebrated across the country with prayers and social activities.
