DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Thursday adding 62.67 points 0.65 percent to advance to 9,761.03 points from 9,698.36 on Wednesday.
The volume of the shares traded up to 6,905,717 from 5,786,686 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR289,735,174.91 from QR258,113,221.12 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Doha Bank which was up 0.18 percent to QR54.40, Masraf Al Rayan gained 0.34 percent to QR29.15, Barwa Real Estate gained 3.16 percent to QR26.15 and Vodafone Qatar up by 0.22 percent to QR9.07.
The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.35 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.02 points.
The industrial sector was gained 0.41 points while insurance sector added 0.66 points. (QNA)
