DOHA: The Primary Health Care Corporation has announced the working hours of primary health centres during the Eid Al Adha holidays, from October 5 to October 9.
Seven health centres in Doha will work in two shifts, from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm to 11pm. They are: Al Rayyan Health Center, Madinat Khalifa Health Center, Al Muntaza Health Center, Um Guwailina Health Center, Abu Baker Sidiq Health Center, Omar Bin Kattab Health Center and West Bay Health Center.
The following health centres will not operate during the holidays: Um Salal Health Center, Al Daayen Health Center, Airport Health Center, Al Karana Health Center, Messaimeer Health Center , Al Gharafa Health Center and Abu Nakhla Health Center.
Al Wakra Health Center will work from 7am to 11pm while Al Khor Health Center and Al Shamal Health Center will have a noon break from 2pm to 4pm. Al Sheehaniya Health Center will work from 7am to 9pm.
Al Jamilia Health Center, Al Kaban Health Center, Al Guwairia Health Center and Um Bab Health Center will operate round the clock according to the on call system.
The dental clinic in Al Wakra Health Center will operate in two shifts, from 7am to 2pm, and from 3pm to 9pm (the clinic will remain closed on the first day of Eid Al Adha, and also on Friday mornings).
The dental clinics in Al Sheehaniya, Al Khor and Al Shamal Health Centers will operate daily during the morning shift only from 7am to 2pm (the clinics in these three health centers will be closed on the first day of Eid. Clinics at Al Sheehaniya and Al Shamal Health centers will be closed on Friday and Saturday while that in Al Khor Health Center will be closed only on Friday).
Ophthalmology and ENT clinics in Al Muntaza Health Center will operate during the morning shift from October 5 to October 9. (The ENT and ophthalmology clinics will not work on Fridays).
Premarital examination clinics will close in all health centres except Al Rayyan Health Center, where it will operate on Sunday and Wednesday from 7am to 1pm.
