DOHA: A number of laws related to trade, commerce, industry and investment being overhauled with a view to improving business environment in the country and attracting more foreign investment.
The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has instructed the government to simplify laws to make doing business and making investments easier, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, H E Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater said on the sidelines of a conference here.
He said radical changes were being made to at least two dozen laws with the above objective in mind. Three laws have already been amended and enforced, while the others are under review, he said.the peninsula
