Doha: Radio Malayalam 98.6 FM honoured the health workers in Qatar who rendered excellent service especially during the COVID-9 pandemic days.
The honour, titled ‘Salute Our Saviours’, was handed over by the community leaders President of Indian Cultural Centre, Manikandan AP; President of Indian Community Benevolent Forum, P N Baburaj; Vice-President, Indian Sports Centre, Sharaf P Hameed, and Vice-President, Indian Business and Professionals Council, Sheji Valiyakath.
The honourees include leaders and representatives of Indian Doctors’ Club, Kerala Pharmacists Forum Qatar, Federation of Indian Nurses Qatar, United Nurses of India Qatar, Indian Physiotherapy Qatar and ORUMA friends’ circle of healthcare workers.
The honouring was held at the office of the Radio on October 31, 2020, the third anniversary day of the Radio.
