DOHA: Qatar’s telecom giant, Qtel, has launched two new Mozaic TV packages, Pehla Spice and Spice Plus, offering more TV channels and a wide range of programmes from the Indian subcontinent, a statement said yesterday.

These new packages are available on Mozaic TV platform as part of the Mozaic TV Pehla Package, which includes Pehla Variety and Pehla Prime. The Pehla Spice packages offer a mix of entertainment, infotainment and sports in Tamil, Malayalam, Telegu and Kannada.

The Pehla Spice package offers 16 channels, including Sony Entertainment, Star Plus, Cartoon Network, MTV India, and NDTV and will be available for customers for an extra QR30.

The Pehla Spice Plus package is available for QR110, with 25 channels, including Starworld, Zee TV, Gemini, Surya, Udaya, Sky news and ABP. The launch of Pehla Spice and Spice Plus packages is part of Qtel’s ongoing strategy to offer more choice and great value for all customers, and to deliver entertainment from around the world for customers in Qatar. One of the reasons that Mozaic has become Qatar’s most popular digital television service is the incredible range of programming in multiple languages, so that customers can enjoy the very best channels from their home countries.

It is the only TV entertainment service in Qatar that brings all of the various International, Arabic and Asian satellite packages and Free-to-Air channels available in the Qatari market together on one platform.
