Registration opens for PSG Academy programme in Qatar

DOHA: The world-renowned Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Academy is coming to Qatar this month thanks to Evolution Sports Academy and registration is now open for all young people across the country aged between 6 and 18.
This is the first time the PSG Academy will be in Qatar and will be held at Doha College, Al Waab campus and Lycee Voltaire West Bay school from December 8 to 12. 
The PSG Academy to be supported by Evolution Soccer in Qatar, costs QR1200 per student, and will run from 3pm Sunday to 6pm on Thursday. 
All students will receive a PSG welcome pack including a training kit and a fun, action-packed programme of specialist football training combined with life skills that have made PSG players so successful. 
Qatar will also play host for the yearly PSG football winter tour, including a friendly match against Real Madrid in January 2, 2014. 
Participants will also have the opportunity of winning 30 complimentary tickets to the forthcoming game next year.

Evolution Sports soccer coaches who are UEFA qualified will also lead daily sessions alongside PSG staff establishing a professional relationship of shared methods and training principles. 
PSG is one of the world’s most famous football clubs and this exciting event is an opportunity for players, both boys and girls, to enjoy a positive physical training experience, supplemented with important life skills all delivered in a professional footballing environment.
Established in 2005, in close collaboration with the Elite Academy, especially in terms of the development of a technical programme, the PSG Academy provides football fans with the opportunity to step inside the world of the club, while benefitting from the know-how of PSG’s top coaches. It offers a unique training methodology tailored to each individual’s profile (age, level etc.), focusing on three core principles: offering all participants the unique PSG player development know-how, promoting the noble values of sport and discovering potential new 
talents. 
Since 2007, Evolution Sports has been responsible for more than 20 soccer camps in Doha for young people aged 5 to 15 years old and this year will officially introduce PSG to the local community.
