Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 42.29 points (+0.55 percent) when the bourse closed trading at 7,756.55 points Sunday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 8,094,684 from 11,822,157 on Thursday and the value of shares decreased to QR 122,845,304.39 from QR 246,421,098.59 on Thursday.
From the 45 companies listed on QSE, shares of 42 saw trading today. From these, 30 gained, eight closed lower and four remained unchanged.
Indices of all sectors ended in green. QSE Total Return Index gains +0.55 percent to 13,007.27 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index increased +0.79 percent to 3,056.28 points and QSE All Share Index declined+1.23 percent to 2,162.31 points.
