BAMAKO---Mohamed Traore of Sudan's El Merreikh club was Saturday named in the Mali squad to replace the injured Cheick Diabate for the Africa Cup of Nations which takes place in Equatorial Guinea from January 17-February 8.
Bordeaux striker Diabate was forced out of the tournament through a knee injury which will require surgery and rule him out for up to four months.
