Doha: Al Wakra Municipality, represented by the Health Control Department of Municipal Control Department, carried out 1,179 inspection tours of food establishments across the municipality in December 2022.
As a result, two restaurants were closed for violating Human Food Control Law No. 8 of 1990.
A total of 26 violations were recorded in the last month.
The Municipality received 14 complaints, which were responded to immediately, and 16 food samples were sent to the central laboratory for testing to ensure if they are safe for human consumption.
