Eight falcons qualify for Al Tala competition

Doha: The competitions of 14th Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi) 2023 continued yesterday. Organised by Al Gannas Association, the festival will run until January 28.

Six falcons qualified for Al Tala competition yesterday increasing the number of qualified bird for this contest to eight as first day only two birds qualified. 

Head of the Hadad Al Tahadi Committee Ali Sultan Nasser Al Hamidi said that Championship is exceptional by all standards due to its strength, as it brings participants from inside and outside the country.

He said that the third day witnessed tough competition as falconers expressed their readiness meeting the challenge of pigeon of Abdullah Fakhro.  This is why, he said, the number of winners and qualified birds increased to 16.
