The important international event comes as a result of fruitful cooperation between  QSA, Geographic Information Systems Center of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, and all bodies associated with the national network of geographic information systems.

They cooperated on integrating geospatial and statistical information in related data to advance the process of data analysis and results to achieve the state’s comprehensive development and National Vision 2030 goals.

In this forum, Qatari officials and international experts will exchange experiences and identify the latest geographic information systems of worldwide scope to strengthen capabilities of the entities that use such systems, including QSA, the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Interior, Qtel and others.

This will have the greatest impact on improving the performance and supporting the application of these technologies in a more organised way.
