Doha: The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology yesterday announced the launch of a public consultation on a Media, Culture and Heritage National Digitisation Draft Plan.
Interested parties are invited to provide comments and views to the ministry by March 16.
The plan outlines a decentralised and cooperative model that lays the groundwork for successful digitisation initiatives in Qatar. Central to the effort is a National Digitisation Model with strategic competencies of national MCH institutions in Qatar.

The plan is a key initiative to preserve Qatar’s culture, traditions and heritage as identified in Qatar National Vision 2030 and Qatar National Development Strategy (2011-2016).
