Rome: The Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation Affairs H E Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and his delegation took part in a meeting on human challenges in Syria.
In a statement, he stressed the urgency of a political solution to the Syrian crisis and the necessity of allowing humanitarian aid through to besieged areas without any hurdles.
He also called on the United Nations Security Council to issue a binding decision in this regard. QNA
