Doha: To celebrate Sri Lanka’s 70th Independence Day, Commercial Bank has announced a special offer for money transfers made to bank accounts in Sri Lanka, using Commercial Bank’s simple, secure and convenient Mobile and Internet Banking service.
This online remittance service is available for transfers to 27 banks in Sri Lanka and customers can transfer money that is usually received in less than 60 seconds. Commercial Bank’s competitive exchange rates will apply, for a limited period from February 1 to 15, 2018.
The funds transfer fee will be free, though standard correspondent bank charges from the receiving bank will still apply.
Commercial Bank Head of Consumer Banking, Amit Sah said: “Sri Lankans can send money home at any time with funds being credited almost instantly, through our innovative digital platforms and to celebrate Sri Lanka’s 70th Independence Day, our standard transfer fee is free.”
To start making a transfer, customers simply log-in to Internet Banking or download Commercial Bank’s Mobile Banking App from their app store.
