Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, met with HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country at the Amiri Diwan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi Minister of Defense conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to His Highness the Amir, along with their wishes for his continued health and happiness and for the Qatari people's further progress and prosperity.

For his part, His Highness the Amir asked HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to convey his greetings to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing them both continued health and well-being and the brotherly Saudi people continued progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to developments in the region and the efforts being in this regard, and a number of other topics of common interest.
The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.
Also present from the Saudi side were a number of Their Excellencies the accompanying delegation.
