DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Tuesday at 11,588.24 points or 0.65 percent down 75.78 points from the previous closing of 11,664.02 points on Monday.
The volume of shares was fell to 14,432,918 from Monday 14,463,302 and the value of shares decreased to QR651,622,584.74 from QR739,005,511.61 on Monday.
Among the top losers were Qatar Insurance whose share down 1.22 percent to QR65.00, Doha Bank lost 9.10 percent to QR60.90, Vodafone Qatar fell 0.99 percent to QR12.05 and Ooredoo decreased by 1.15 percent to QR146.70.
The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.28 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.38 points.
The industrial sector was rose 0.50 points while insurance sector down 1.69 percent points. (QNA)
