Doha: Continuing its celebration of the biggest cricket event this year, Ooredoo has announced an opportunity for Hala subscribers to win cash prizes for making an international call.
The competition asks subscribers to call an international number for three or more consecutive minutes to be entered into a free raffle draw.
Customers eligible to enter the draw will get a chance of winning one of 24 QR2,000 daily prizes, four weekly prizes of QR10,000 and a grand prize of QR100,000.
The contest aims to reward all cricket fans who share excitement with their loved ones overseas about 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup taking place this month.
The competition ends on March 13 and winners will be notified by April 12.
Hala users subscribed to any of Ooredoo’s portfolio of international money saving options, such as Hala India Key, Hala International Saver key and more, will also be eligible for the competition.
This is the latest in a long line of offers for the cricket season, as Ooredoo is offering Mozaic TV Pehla Variety package customers access to a higher tier package — OSN Pehla Spice Plus for free, which includes full coverage of the cricket world cup on the OSN Sports Cricket channel.
The 12th ICC Cricket World Cup is being hosted by Australia and New Zealand and began on February 14. There are 49 matches across 14 venues, available in HD via Mozaic TV.
