Paris: The Minister of Energy and Industry H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada yesterday met Delphine Batho, the French Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy in Paris. Talks, which was attended by Mohammed Jiham Al Kuwari, the Ambassador of Qatar, covered means to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in addition to issues of mutual interest.
Dr Al Sada, who is in Paris on an official visit, attended presentations by the French oil and gas group Total on unconventional hydrocarbon resources, LNG markets, refining and petrochemicals, as well as on solar energy.
During his two-day visit, Dr Al Sada also held separate meetings with the top management of major French companies. He met Christophe de Margerie, President and CEO of Total; Philippe Barril, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Onshore/Offshore of Technip, and Jean Marc Aubry, Senior Vice President of Technip Region A , and Benoit Potier, CEO of Air Liquide.
