DOHA: The Wesley College old boys association won the Championship Cup of Trinity Lions-InterContinental Beach Rugby Carnival held yesterday at the Inter-Continental Doha beach.
Zahira College-Colombo beat D S Senanayake College to clinch the Place Cup, while Nalanda College triumphed over St Joseph’s College to win the Bawl Cup.
Sixteen teams representing old boys associations of Sri Lankan schools took part at the one day tournament. They included old boys associations of Trinity College, St Anthony’s College-Kandy, Kingswood College, Dharmaraja College, Royal College, St Thomas College, Ananda College, Nalanda College, St Joseph’s College, Wesley College, Zahira College- Colombo, St Peter’s College, Carey College, D S Senanayake College, St Sylvester’s College and Thurstan College.
